very moist, my children’s favorite cake
For the dough, sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add curd cheese, milk, oil, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Using a mixer fitted with a dough hook, knead into a dough for about 1 minute. Roll out the dough and place on a baking tray. Mix the custard powder, sugar, and egg yolk with 6 tablespoons of the milk. Bring the remaining milk and whipped cream to a boil, remove from the heat, and slowly stir in the mixed custard powder. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into the pudding. Spread the mixture evenly over the dough. Cut the apples into wedges and arrange them in flakes on the pudding. Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 180°C, approx. 35 minutes. Peaches can also be used instead of apples.
