Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 375 ml vodka
  • 350 g sugar
  • 180 ml water
  • ½ lemon(s) , (the peel)
  • ¼ orange(s), (the peel)
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 clove(s)

Chop the cranberries in a blender, food processor, or food processor (or similar) until finely chopped, but do not puree. Place the fruit in a sealable container (e.g., a mason jar or similar), along with the lemon and orange zest, cinnamon, cloves, and vodka. Bring the sugar and water to a boil and add about 375 ml of the syrup to the cranberry vodka. Let the mixture steep for about 4 weeks, then filter thoroughly and let it mature for a few weeks.
