Curry – Quince

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g quince(s)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 pinch of coriander
  • 1 piece(s) ginger
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 stalk of lemongrass
  • 1 tsp curry paste, possibly less or curry powder
  • 150 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wipe the quinces with a dry cloth and wash them. Peel, quarter, core, and cut them into sticks. Bring the quince sticks to a boil with the remaining ingredients, then simmer over low heat until the quinces are tender. Transfer the curried quinces to preheated jars and seal immediately.
