Curry sauce à la 'Dönninghaus'

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup of tomato ketchup or 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Madras curry powder or other curry mix
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp, crushed paprika powder, hot
  • Cayenne pepper, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring all ingredients to a boil. It tastes great both hot and cold and will keep in the refrigerator for about 4 weeks.
