Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g bell pepper(s), cut into strips
- 2 onions, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 600 ml broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- chili powder
- Paprika powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- possibly sauce thickener, light, if required
- some olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Wash and trim the peppers, and cut into strips. Heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the peppers and sauté until softened. Season to taste and stir in the tomato paste. Deglaze with the stock and reduce slightly. Thicken with a sauce thickener, if desired.
