Curry sauce for currywurst

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml cola
  • 6 tbsp applesauce
  • 2 tbsp curry powder, hot
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 400 ml tomato ketchup
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

makes about 500 ml of sauce

Reduce the cola to 100 ml. Then add the remaining ingredients, season with salt, and bring back to a gentle boil. This creates a fiery yet delicious sauce. Makes approximately 500 ml.
