Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 sausages
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 300 ml water
- 4 tbsp ketchup, (curry ketchup)
- 1 tbsp instant gravy
- some sunflower oil
- some curry powder
- salt and pepper
- 1 handful of chives, in rolls
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion rings until lightly browned. Add the water and curry ketchup. Add the meat juices, season with curry powder, and stir well. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes. Heat a little oil in a second pan and fry the sausages for 5-7 minutes. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and possibly a little more curry powder. Arrange the sausage and sauce on plates, sprinkle with chives, and serve. Fried potatoes or French fries are the best side dishes.
