Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp water, hot
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

particularly delicious

Whisk the eggs, sugar, and hot water until frothy. Sift the flour and baking powder together and fold into the egg and sugar mixture. Pour into a greased fruitcake pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Remove the cake base from the pan immediately.
