Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg flour
  • 2 packets of dry yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 100 g butter
  • 300 g potatoes, floury, boiled, mashed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg white or some water if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

very juicy with boiled potatoes

First, boil and mash the potatoes. Then, make a dough with all the remaining ingredients and stir in the mashed potatoes. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, forming a nice, large loaf. Place it in the preheated oven for one hour, brushing occasionally with egg white or water (though this isn’t necessary).
