Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 210 g flour
  • 140 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 500 g currants
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tbsp almonds, ground
  • 3 egg whites
  • possibly powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead the dough ingredients, wrap in foil and chill for 1 hour. Prepare the berries, strip them, and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Beat the remaining sugar and eggs until creamy, then fold in the almonds. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then fold in the almond mixture and berries. Roll out the dough, line a greased springform pan (26 cm diameter) with it, and raise the edges by 4 cm. Pour in the filling and bake (cover) at 180°C (160°C fan-assisted oven) for 35-40 minutes. Garnish with powdered sugar and berries, if desired.
