Spread the love

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 500 g smoked ham, sliced
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 handful of spring onions
  • 400 ml mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp, heaped sugar
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Ham salad made from smoked ham

Cut the ham into strips about 1 cm wide. Then cut these again so that the pieces are roughly square. Peel the onion (I prefer a red onion) and dice them finely. Wash the spring onions and cut them into small rings. If you buy a bunch, the green part of the onions is enough. Put everything together in a bowl and add the sugar. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the bowl if desired. Then mix everything with the mayonnaise. Season to taste and add a little more sugar if desired. It tastes best if you prepare the salad the evening before and let it stand overnight.
