Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g Hörnli (pasta)
  • Salt
  • ¾ jar salad cream
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • ½ jar gherkins, sliced
  • 1 can peas and carrots, drained
  • 6 eggs, hard-boiled, diced
  • 250 g ham sausage, diced
  • some cucumber juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes

ideal for parties and on warm days as lunch

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool. Make a dressing from the salad cream, yogurt, and a little cucumber juice, seasoning to taste. Stir in the gherkins, peas, and carrots (chop the carrots if desired), along with the hard-boiled, diced eggs and ham sausage, along with the pasta. Refrigerate the salad and let it marinate until ready to serve (best prepared in the morning for dinner or early for lunch). Tip: For a variation or a smaller portion, you can also make the salad with ready-made meat salad instead of the salad cream, gherkins, and ham sausage.
