Ingredients
 

  • 200 g Pitted dates
  • 200 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 100 g Chopped almonds
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 200 g Blueberries
  • 200 g Powdered sugar
  • Orange juice
  • 30 g Starch
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar

Instructions
 

  • Cut the dates into pieces and mix with the nuts. Dissolve the butter with the sugar and honey. Add cinnamon to the dates and nuts. Pour the butter and sugar mixture onto the date mixture and mix. Mix in the starch.
  • Separate the eggs, whisk the yolks with the vanilla sugar and two tablespoons of orange juice. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
  • Mix the date mixture with the beaten egg yolk and fold everything into the egg white mixture. Grease a baking pan and bake the dough in it for half an hour at 190 degrees.
  • Spread the blueberries on the cake. Process the powdered sugar with a little orange juice to a glaze and pour over the blueberries.
