Delicious baguette

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 100 g butter
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • possibly grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Heat the milk and crumble in the yeast. Add the sugar and let the mixture swell for about 10 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let it rest for about 20 minutes. Divide the dough into thirds and shape into baguettes. Place on a baking sheet or greased baguette tray and let rise for another 15 minutes. Then bake the baguettes at 200 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes. I make a diagonal cut in them before the final rise and spray them with water. They rise beautifully and taste delicious.
