Delicious Bread Made from 700 Grams of Sourdough
The perfect delicious bread made from 700 grams of sourdough recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 700 g Sourdough
- 700 g Spelled Flour 630
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoon Bread spice mix
- 350 ml Lukewarm water
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- Mix the spelled flour, yeast, salt and bread spices well.
- Add the sourdough and knead the whole thing well with the lukewarm water. The batter is a little sticky, but that’s normal.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
- Then form loaves of bread from the dough. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, cover and let rise for another hour. You can also let the dough rise in a baking pan and so also bake it, but please leave it covered.
- I let them go in bread baskets, but anyone can do it as they want.
- Preheat the oven to 220C. Slightly cut into the bread with a sharp knife after it rises. Then put in the oven. After 15 minutes, place a bowl of hot water on the oven floor. Turn the oven down to 180C. And bake the bread for about 50-55 minutes.
- When the bread is ready, do the knocking test. It must sound hollow, then it is ready. And very crispy.
- If the sourdough is a little older, you no longer need yeast. Bake about 3-4 times, then you can do without yeast. But then bread has to go for about 3-4 hours. You have to try it out. I’m still in the trial phase myself.
