Delicious carrot stew with meatballs

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 kg potatoes
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 kg carrot(s)
  • 750 g minced meat
  • 4 cubes of stock
  • 5 dashes of Maggi
  • salt and pepper
  • some herbs of your choice
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Spice(s) of your choice
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead the ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, and spices. Form the mixture into small meatballs and fry. Finely chop an onion and fry it with the onion. Meanwhile, peel and dice the potatoes. Peel and dice the carrots as well. Place in a pot and cover with water. Then add the 4 stock cubes and simmer for about 45 minutes. Finally, season with a little Maggi and sugar and refine with herbs. Add the meatballs and the fried onions and heat briefly.
