Kit-Kat Smarties Cake
The perfect kit-kat smarties cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Ingredients for the soil
- 50 g Flour
- 50 g Sugar
- 50 g Food starch
- 2 Pc. Eggs
- 5 tbsp Cocoa
Ingredients for the cream
- 600 ml Cream
- 150 g Couverture whole milk
- 50 g Grated chocolate
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 2 packet Cream stiffener

- 1 role Smarties
- 50 g Couverture
Preparation of the soil
- Beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix sugar, flour, eggs and cornstarch in a bowl with the mixer and then fold in the egg white, stir in cocoa powder with a spoon. I cover a springform pan with baking paper (crumple it up beforehand, then it will be easier), preheat the oven to 180 degrees and let the base bake for about 25 minutes.
Preparation of the cream
- Whip the cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff, put approx. 5 tablespoons of cream aside and mix with the chocolate flakes. Melt the couverture and mix it with the rest of the cream, if you want, stir in the chocolate flakes.

- Cut the bottom into 2 slices with a long knife or thread. Put the ring on the springform pan and smear the chocolate cream on the lower base, then put the 2nd base on top and smear the white cream on top. If you want to eat the cake the next day, I would distribute the Smarties on the cake shortly beforehand. They come on top, on top of the light cream. The kitkats come all around, these are “glued” around the cake with some liquid couverture, I also poured chocolate around the transition from Smarties and Kitkats and decorated it with colorful sugar pearls!
