Delicious grape puree

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg grapes
  • 50 ml water
  • 50 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

vegetarian, vegan, easy to prepare

First, remove the stems from the grapes, place them in a pot, and add the water. Bring to a boil until they burst. Strain the grapes through a sieve, reserving the juice. This can be drunk as fresh grape juice, slightly sweetened if desired. It will keep in the refrigerator for about two days. Place the solid grapes in a food mill and churn, collecting the puree in a pot. Add the sugar and bring to a boil briefly while stirring. Add a little more sugar if desired. The puree goes perfectly with yogurt. It is also delicious with vanilla sauce or on buttered bread.
