Delicious turkey schnitzel topped with tomato sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 350 g turkey schnitzel
  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • some paprika powder
  • some oregano
  • herbs, Italian
  • 250 g cheese, grated
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, wash the turkey cutlets and dry them with a kitchen towel. Then, place the turkey cutlets in slices in a baking dish, or cut them into smaller slices or pieces, depending on your taste. Peel the onion and garlic and dice them or press them through a garlic press. Sauté both in a little hot oil. Add the passata and bring to a gentle boil. Season with paprika, oregano, and Italian herbs to taste. Then simmer for a good 2-3 minutes. Pour the sauce over the turkey cutlets and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 175°C in a convection oven for 30-45 minutes.
