Deluxe fish sandwich

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 fish fillets, frozen (“Crispy Fillets Cheese and Herbs”), 100 g each
  • 4 baguette rolls
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 bowl of cherry tomatoes
  • some remoulade

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simple, fast

Place the rolls and frozen fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius. In the meantime, wash the lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Tear the lettuce leaves into pieces and slice the tomatoes. After 10 minutes, remove the rolls from the oven and set aside to cool slightly. Turn the fish fillets over and bake for another 10 minutes. Now slice the rolls lengthwise and spread a thin layer of remoulade. Then place the lettuce leaves on top. Place the fish fillets on the lettuce, spread with remoulade, and arrange the tomato slices on top. Close the rolls and enjoy. The fish rolls taste especially good with the crispy fillets with the cheese and herb filling (available at any supermarket or discount store). Of course, you can also use any other flavor or the classic fillets if you like. If you want to save calories, simply leave out the remoulade or use a homemade, lower-calorie sauce.
