Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 5 sheep cheese or goat cheese, preferably round
- 15 juniper berries
- 2 sprigs rosemary, fresh
- 1 tsp tarragon, dried
- 1 tsp thyme, dried
- 1 pinch of freshly ground pepper
- 10 small peppers
- 1 liter olive oil

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 5 minutes
Pickled cheese
For pickling, use a jar that’s not much larger than the cheese pieces. Layer the cheese with the spices and peppers in the jar. Fill with olive oil so that the last piece of cheese is covered. Seal the jar. Let the cheese marinate for at least 24 hours before enjoying.
