Dessert: Plum Lentils

The perfect dessert: plum lentils recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 piece Egg from Isolde
  • 100 g Wheat flour type 550
  • 75 ml Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 6 piece Fresh plums
  • 2 teaspoon Clarified butter
  • Cinnamon sugar for sprinkling
  1. Make a thick pancake batter out of egg, flour and milk. Mix with sugar and salt.
  2. Core the plums, cut into eighths and cut them into small pieces. Stir these into the dough.
  3. Heat some clarified butter in a small pan (20 cm) and fill in half of the dough, spread evenly and fry over high heat. Lower the temperature and fry the other side of the part until light brown. Place on paper towels to degrease.
  4. Quarter the pancakes, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and garnish with mint leaves.
  5. In this recipe primer by Asta Westphal, these plinsen are made with apples. But after I still had some fruit left from my plum cake, this recipe came in handy.
