Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • n. B. Jam of your choice
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 dashes lemon juice or orange juice
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 shot of rum or
  • Schnapps of your choice (e.g. raspberry or cherry brandy)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

with alcohol, for the utilization of jam leftovers

Take a small saucepan and add the jam, followed by water, lemon or orange juice, and then the rum or schnapps. Dissolve the vanilla sugar in it and let it simmer briefly. It can then be served as a hot sauce with ice cream or with pastries (e.g., Kaiserschmarrn). If I just mix everything together and serve it cold, it goes well with natural yogurt or over muesli.
