Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g beef (leg, soup meat)
  • some salt
  • Broth, granulated
  • 250 g rice, parboiled
  • 1 jar of shallots
  • 1 jar red pepper(s), cut into strips
  • 1 jar cucumber(s), refined with honey
  • e.g. spiced ketchup
  • n. B. cucumber water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

First, boil the beef. Add a little salt and granulated stock to the water. The meat should simmer for about 2 hours until it easily flakes off the bone. After cooking, let it cool and cut into cubes. Meanwhile, cook the rice as usual. Finely dice the gherkins. Now combine all ingredients in a large salad bowl. Add spiced ketchup and gherkin liquid as desired until a smooth mixture is formed. Enjoy the salad well chilled.
