Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
- 1 jar Pepper, small, green, pickled
- 4 turkey schnitzels, 100g each
- some salt
- some cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp oil
- 125 g cheese (Emmental), grated
- 4 slice(s) toast bread, (sandwich toast)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
quick toast dish
Clean the bell peppers, quarter them, and cut them into strips. Cut four peppers into rings and set aside four whole ones. Halve the schnitzel, flatten them slightly, and season with salt. Fry in batches in hot oil. Remove and season with pepper. Toast the slices of bread. Top each with two schnitzel slices. Arrange the pepper strips and pepper rings on top. Sprinkle with cheese and grill until golden brown. Place a whole pepper on top of each slice for garnish.
