Doctors Told Who Should Not Eat Eggs and Why They are Dangerous

Experts recommend eating three to four eggs a week. Eggs are part of any person’s diet. However, experts listed the positive and negative properties of eggs and also talked about the consequences of regular consumption of this product.

According to doctors, for a long time, eggs were considered to be among the most harmful products, considering them the main source of bad cholesterol and, as a result, diseases of the cardiovascular system (stroke, atherosclerosis).

However, the latest research not only disputes this claim but also proves the benefits of eggs in the fight against such diseases.

According to a publication in the British Medical Journal, those who ate up to five eggs a week had a 10 percent reduction in the risk of heart disease compared to those who ate this product extremely rarely. However, an article in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology calls this conclusion into question. Scientists believe that the study by British colleagues did not take into account the full diet.

As you know, fruits, vegetables, which are rich in fiber, and daily exercise help to reduce cholesterol levels. The German Nutrition Society recommends eating three to four eggs a week for those who do not suffer from diabetes or heart disease.

Swedish scientists have found that the norm can be increased to six eggs, but those who eat more should be prepared for negative consequences.

The method of cooking also has an impact: boiled eggs are much easier to digest than scrambled eggs with bacon cooked in oil. At the same time, choosing vegetable oil and adding tomatoes will make the dish balanced.
