Dohna – Grandma's quark cake without a base

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet of sugar (lemon sugar)
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Separate the eggs. Whisk the egg yolks with the other ingredients. Pour everything into a springform pan and bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then pour the mixture onto the cake and bake for another 8 minutes. Then turn off the oven and let it stand in the oven for about 10 minutes. This will prevent the cake from collapsing.
