Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g margarine
- 250 g sugar
- 6 eggs
- 350 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 jar sour cherries
- 500 ml milk
- 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
- n. B. Sugar according to the package instructions of the pudding powder
- 250 g butter
- 200 g dark chocolate coating
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Dough: Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, stir in eggs. Sift flour and baking powder over the batter and fold in. Preheat oven to 175°C. Pour half of the batter onto a greased baking sheet. Mix the remaining batter with cocoa powder and spread it on the light batter. Drain the cherries and spread it on the batter. Bake the cake for about 35 minutes at 175°C. Cream: Prepare the pudding with milk and sugar according to the package instructions. Stir in the softened butter, mix until smooth, and let cool. Spread on the cooled cake. Glaze: Melt the chocolate glaze in a water bath, spread it on the cold cream, and chill the cake. Tip: Before cutting the Donauwelle, put a knife in hot water and then cut it. This will prevent the chocolate coating from cracking.
