Donauwellen – Brownies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g dark chocolate coating
  • 250 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 120 g cane sugar
  • 120 g flour
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 250 g ricotta
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 80 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 jar sour cherries, drained

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie. Then place the mixture in a bowl with the sugar and eggs (careful, it must not be too hot, otherwise the eggs will curdle!) and mix everything well (at least 3 minutes). Add the flour and mix well again. Mix together the cream cheese, ricotta, eggs, flour, sugar and vanilla sugar. Now pour the chocolate mixture into a sufficiently large casserole dish or a deep baking tray, spread the cream cheese and ricotta mixture on top and finally place the well-drained cherries on top. If desired, the surface can be slightly marbled using a fork before spreading the cherries. To do this, simply reserve some of the chocolate mixture and spread it on the cheese mixture, then draw circles with the fork, and only then add the cherries. Bake at 180°C/F for 35-40 minutes. The cherries and the cream cheese and ricotta mixture make the brownies very moist and they will keep for a few days.
