Mix together the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Cream the butter and sugar separately until creamy, then stir in the vanilla extract, syrup, and finally the eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture while stirring. Chop the white and dark chocolate into small pieces and fold in. Spoon small portions onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake the cookies at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about 10-15 minutes. Makes about 16 cookies. Note: Did you know that 25% of Germans eat a bar of chocolate at least once a week? If you like, you can add it to this cookie dough instead! These double chocolate cookies are perfect for heartbreak, for TV nights, or simply for that everyday chocolate craving. If you like, you can of course add nuts or maybe even Oreo crumbs instead of the chocolate pieces. Simply serve these moist cookies with a delicious glass of milk and enjoy.
