Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 325 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g butter
  • jam
  • Dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 8 minutes

Based on a recipe from my grandma – a must for us at Christmas

Make a smooth dough from flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, and butter. Roll out the dough to about 3 mm and cut out round cookies. Cut out the center of each half. Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper at 150 degrees Celsius for about 6-8 minutes. Once cooled, spread jam on each cookie and place a ring on top. Finally, fill the cut-out circle with chocolate coating.
