Drink: Matcha Latte
The perfect drink: matcha latte recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 g Matcha tea powder; come in practical sticks
- 80 ml Water
- 80 ml Milk
- Honey or rice syrup etc …
- For the very quick version, heat a cup of milk in a saucepan, stir in the Matcha powder well and froth everything up a little with the small milk frother. Whisk in a little more honey if you like.
- For the other variant, stir the powder with boiled water that has been cooled down to approx. 80 degrees. Heat and froth the milk in a separate saucepan and pour it onto the tea. Sweeten at will.
Coconut Matcha Latte:
- Mix half the milk and half the coconut drink with the powder. Warm up and froth up. Sweeten at will.
Banana Matcha Shake:
- Puree 1 cup of milk and half a banana and stir into the powder. Drink cold or warm as you like.
Vanilla ice cream matcha shake:
- Mix 1 cup of milk and matcha powder and froth up a little. Add 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream to the shake. If you like, top it with a whipped cream topping. This even goes through as a dessert 🙂
