Drunken potatoes with chicken

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 m.-sized potatoes
  • 1 chicken
  • 1 bottle of white wine
  • 1 bulb(s) garlic
  • marjoram
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes, and place them in a bowl. Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, marjoram, and oregano to taste and mix well by hand. Then place them on a greased baking sheet. Cut the chicken into small portions and season with the same seasonings as the potatoes. Peel and peel the garlic bulb as usual, leaving the cloves. Now divide the seasoned chicken pieces among the potatoes. Then distribute the garlic cloves evenly over the baking sheet. Place in the oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes. To make sure the potatoes and meat are soaked, pour the white wine over them repeatedly during the 45 minutes. Add a delicious salad and that’s all. I got the recipe from an Italian friend. It’s quick, inexpensive, and tastes very good. Have fun cooking it. P.S. You can also make the dish with turkey, rabbit, hare, or game bird. I even cooked it at Christmas with a delicious red wine.
