Dumplings with paprika and onion sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of mini dumplings, filled, vegetarian (e.g. from Pfanni)
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100 ml oil
  • e.g. basil
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simple and vegetarian

Cook the dumplings according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the bell pepper and onion. Sauté them in a pan with a little oil. Then add the cream and more oil and continue simmering. Once everything has become creamy, add the basil and season to taste (I used pepper, salt, and oregano). Once the dumplings are done, drain them and add them to the pan with the rest. Tip: The “sauce” also tastes great with pasta.
