Easiest bread in the world

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 550 g wheat flour type 550
  • 8 g fresh yeast
  • 8 g honey
  • 12 g salt
  • 350 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 15 hours 50 minutes

Place flour, water, honey, salt, and finely crumbled yeast in a plastic container and mix with a wooden spoon until a dough forms. Place the lid on the container and refrigerate for 12-15 hours. Once the dough has risen, remove it from the container onto the countertop and carefully fold each side. Place the dough on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 240°C (top/bottom heat) for 30 minutes. This is probably the easiest bread in the world. Tips: Sprinkle a little water into the oven at the beginning of baking (not on the bread) – the bread will be even better this way. I always add a few Italian herbs to the dough; they add a special flavor.
