Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 cups of crème fraîche (150 g each)
- 75 g rock sugar (crushed)
- 1 pack vanilla sugar, bourbon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- 250 g wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 400 ml whipped cream
- 2 packs of cream stiffener
- 1 pack vanilla sugar, bourbon
- 350 g plum jam

For the batter, put the crème fraîche in a mixing bowl and gradually stir in the rock candy, vanilla sugar and salt using a hand mixer. Mix until the mixture is smooth. Gradually stir in the eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder, sift and stir in portions on medium heat. Heat the waffle iron and lightly grease it. Pour about 2 tablespoons of batter into the waffle iron for each waffle and spread it out. Make a total of six waffles from the batter and let them cool on a wire rack. For the filling, whip the cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar. Spread four of the waffles first with plum jam, then with the whipped cream. Stack two coated waffles with one uncoated waffle each to form a cake, ensuring the hearts are on top of each other. Chill the two cakes until ready to serve.
