Easter bunnies made from quark dough

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g margarine
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 375 g flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 42 minutes

Whisk the margarine, sugar, salt, and egg until fluffy, then add the quark. Combine the flour and baking powder, stir in half, and knead in the rest. Cover and let rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick, cut out the Easter bunnies, and place them on a prepared baking sheet. Whisk the egg yolk with water and brush the bunnies with it. Bake in a preheated oven at 175-200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10-12 minutes.
