Ebly in spicy tomato sauce with bratwurst

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 sausages
  • 1 tbsp oil or other fat
  • 1 cup soft wheat flour (Ebly), 200 ml
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • ½ bell pepper(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 50 ml water
  • salt and pepper
  • chili
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Fry the sausages in a pan. Cook the wheat kernels in water for 10 minutes. Peel and dice the onion. Wash, deseed, and dice the bell pepper. Sauté the onions in oil, add the bell pepper. Add a little tomato paste and then the water. Simmer briefly, season to taste, add the soaked wheat, and mix. Transfer to a plate and place the sausages on top. Serve fresh.
