fried rice with chicken breast and vegetables
Finely chop the garlic and ginger, and slice the chicken breast into 2cm long strips. Cut the cabbage, beans, carrots, and bell pepper into very fine, thin, not too long strips. Heat the wok and the oil until hot, then add the butter. Add the chicken breast strips and fry, then stir in the beaten egg and let it set. Now add the garlic and ginger. Add the rice to the chicken breast strips and fry, season with salt and pepper. Then stir in the kecap manis. Add the vegetables and fry briefly. Stir in the sambal oelek to taste. Spoon the fried rice into an oiled bowl for each portion and turn out onto a plate. Place a fried egg on top of the rice. Serve with sambal oelek.
