Egg hamburger

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • Spice(s) of your choice
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Hamburger patties with egg in the middle

Season the ground beef to your liking and knead thoroughly. Form the ground beef into 4 patties and use a glass to poke a hole in the center. Sear the patties well on both sides, but don’t cook them all the way through. Then drop an egg into the center hole and finish cooking the hamburger. Depending on how you want the egg done—soft, one-sided, or well done—the patty will need to be removed from the pan sooner or later. If you like, you can add a slice of cheese to the hamburger to make a cheeseburger. The rest of the hamburger preparation can be customized to your liking.
