Egg – Herb – Toast

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast
  • 50 g sauce (hamburger sauce) or remoulade
  • 3 eggs
  • some oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Fresh herbs (e.g. chives, parsley)
  • 1 tsp ajvar
  • 2 slice(s) cheese (e.g. Gouda or Scheibletten), sliced

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Delicious doesn’t have to take long!

Fry the eggs in a pan with a little oil until they form a fried egg. Meanwhile, spread the toast with hamburger sauce or remoulade and arrange it in a single square on a plate. Season the fried egg with salt and pepper and sprinkle with fresh herbs. Finish frying. Then place it on the prepared toast. Brush the egg with a little ajvar (tip: for spicy food fans, brush with ajvar and Tabasco), then sprinkle with cheese and serve garnished with herbs.
