Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) of bread
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Parsley or chives, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Using a glass, punch a hole in the slice of bread. Lightly toast the “hole bread” and the punched-out bread circle in a toaster or frying pan. Then place it in a pan, crack an egg into the hole, and fry until the egg reaches the desired consistency. Place it on a plate and garnish with chives or parsley. The punched-out and toasted bread circle can be used as a topping or as a side dish for soup.
