Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 50 g smoked bacon
- 1 tbsp clarified butter
- 500 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp flour
- some salt and pepper, black
- 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
- ¼ bunch lovage
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Finely dice the bacon. Heat clarified butter in a pan and fry the bacon. Pour in the milk and heat while stirring. Whisk the eggs with the flour and stir the mixture into the bacon milk. Bring to a boil while stirring and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Wash the lovage, shake dry, and finely chop. Serve the egg spread sprinkled with lovage warm or cold with fresh farmhouse bread.
