Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g marzipan
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 pack of lemon peel or
- Orange peel, grated
- 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- some powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Coarsely grate the marzipan. Using a hand mixer, combine it with the egg yolks, lemon or orange zest, cinnamon, and salt to form a dough. You can then either fill the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large nozzle and pipe a ring onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, or use two small spoons to place small heaps onto a baking sheet. Depending on your taste and time, you’ll need approximately 20-25 cookies. Bake in a preheated oven (175°C fan oven) for approximately 4 minutes, then reduce the heat to 125°C fan oven and bake for another 5-6 minutes. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
