Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter
- 250 g powdered sugar
- 1 lemon(s), grated peel
- 1 egg(s)
- 180 g flour
- 70 g cornstarch
- 100 g almond(s), ground
- 2 tsp cinnamon, ground
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 5 tbsp eggnog
- 1 pinch of salt

enough for about 30 pieces
Mix together butter, 100g icing sugar, 1 pinch of salt, lemon zest, and egg. Sift together flour and cornstarch and knead in together with almonds, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for about 1 hour. Roll out the dough to about 5mm thick and cut out stars about 8.5cm in size. Cut out a small star from the center of half of each cookie. Place the large stars on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Reserve the small stars as leftover dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 8-10 minutes and let cool. Dust the star frames with a little icing sugar (about 50g). Mix the remaining icing sugar and egg liqueur until smooth. Brush all of the cookies with this and place them together with the cut-out cookies. Let dry.
