Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

baked eggs with cheese, cream and herb mix

Preheat oven to 180°C fan/convection oven or 200°C conventional/top/bottom heat. Place a baking tray or wire rack on a medium shelf. Grease one baking dish per serving with butter. Crack the eggs, add the diced cheese and the ham, torn into small pieces, mix well, and place equal amounts into the dishes. Whisk the cream with the grated Parmesan cheese, herb mixture, salt, pepper, and paprika. Pour the mixture in equal parts onto the egg and ham mixture and let it set in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, depending on the desired consistency. Tip: You can omit the ham. Steamed or briefly sautéed vegetables instead or in addition to it work wonderfully. Oregano and basil also go well with egg dishes. Cheese: Anything you like. The quantities are a guideline. Ham and cheese contain more or less salt, so be careful with the seasoning.
