Eggs with ham

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Parsley or chives
  • nutmeg
  • Milk or cream
  • 100 g ham, cottage ham
  • Fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Crack the eggs in a bowl, add the milk or cream, and season with salt and pepper. Wash and chop the herbs, and add them as well. Whisk everything together. Heat the fat in a pan and brown the ham. Add the egg mixture. Once everything is firm, break it up with a wooden spoon. Serve with bread and butter. Tip: Be sparing with the salt, as the ham is already quite salty. If you omit it, this recipe is suitable for vegetarians.
