Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter juice (elderberry juice), fresh
  • 750 g sugar
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 0.7 liters of brown rum, 54%
  • 12 drops of bitter almond flavor

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Boil the freshly squeezed elderberry juice with the sugar and vanilla sugar and let it cool. Add the bitter almond oil to the resulting syrup and top up with the rum. Mix everything thoroughly and bottle. Makes approximately 2.5 liters.
