Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 4 m.-sized eggs
- 400 ml milk
- 15 elderflower umbels
- some butter for frying
- 1 pinch of salt
- Cinnamon – Sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Elderberry cakes
Make a pancake batter from flour, eggs, and milk. Dip the elderflower heads into the batter and immediately place them, stems facing up, into the heated butter in the pan. When the batter firms, trim the stems with scissors, flip the pancake, and finish cooking. Sprinkle the pancakes with sugar and cinnamon and enjoy.
