especially for all elderberry lovers

Shake out the flower heads and briefly hold them under running water. Then place them in a wide, sealable bowl (stem ends facing up) and pour the apple juice over them, making sure not to cover the stem ends. Cover and let steep for 24 hours, then strain through a sieve and mix the collected juice with the preserving sugar. Bring to a boil, simmer for 4 minutes, then pour into jars and seal. It’s very easy to make and tastes especially good to elderberry lovers.
